Do soul mates, divinely matched pairs of polarized opposites really exist?
Or if they do exist, is there just one perfectly matched opposite pole? Or are there more than one. If there is just one of them, then if you lose the first person you love, then you might as well forget about a perfect relationship and settle for what you can. But then again, how do you know whether the first person that you fell in love with was your perfect partner? Or the second, or even the third, or worse still - somebody you haven't met and will not meet! You can never know, can you?
