Every little thing she does is magic...

"Though I've tried before to tell her
Of the feelings I have for her in my heart
Every time that I come near herI just lose my nerve
As I've done from the start

Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she does just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on....

I resolve to call her up a thousand times a day
And ask her if she'll marry me in some old fashioned way
But my silent fears have gripped me
Long before I reach the phone
Long before my tongue has tripped me
Must I always be alone?"

Sting and the Police

Listening to songs like these, and reading Vikram Seth's "An equal music" is enough to turn anybody mushy. And on a diehard romantic like me, the effects are, well, even more impressive ;-) I positively melt when I read each page of "An equal music". Or rather, re-reading it. Love this book better than anything else I've read in a long time. Have to hand it to him - how can anybody write something as wonderful as "A suitable boy" and write something else equally wonderful like "An equal music" - and in entirely different styles!!!
